After several days of not coming, it has already turned into this :thinking_face_clown_face:

Xi’an Jiaotong University must have transportation, here’s a share of a Xi’an特色动集 (shot more than a year ago, the technique wasn’t great and I couldn’t find a good angle)

Tuyuan should also have a transportation guide :tieba_hehe:

Speaking of Xi’an Metro, what does the turnstile look like?

Shanghai’s is as follows

I use the Beijing‑Tianjin‑Hebei Joint Transportation Card (mobile NFC version) in Xi’an :cherry_blossom_cat:

Scanning QR codes in Xi’an is pretty good
No need to turn on Bluetooth, very comfortable
But if I put my transit card inside the phone case, it most likely won’t scan

Scanning is slow, NFC recognized it in 1 s.

Transportation… I just want to know the most convenient way to get to the subway station :sob:

When you get into the subway station, you definitely still have to think about things, like the fastest way to get to the train station.

Xi’an metro is fine, except for the transfer at the Bell Tower and the ultra‑long transfer passage at Xi’an North Station.

Once you get to a metro station, everything is fast.

We go to Hongqiao by subway, which isn’t as fast as the bus, so we’re looking into how to make public transport faster.

I’m not particularly familiar with Xi’an’s public transportation; I visited once in the summer of ’23, mainly taking the subway, and the only time I rode a bus was from Huaqing Palace to the Terracotta Warriors.

However, the subway within Xi’an’s urban area is quite convenient, and among the new first‑tier cities, its planning is relatively good.
