Question: How to efficiently store clothes?

After 35 days, my wardrobe collapsed again.

My brain has stopped thinking now. During this time I also learned from fellow users: besides stacking what can be stacked and hanging what can’t on hooks, I even hung some items by the bedside, but the wardrobe still collapsed…

I feel so powerless and helpless. Could you share how fellow users organize their clothes?

I never organize.

Completely give up on storage; when it’s full, send it home according to the expected order of least future use.

I also sent everything I could, but it still wouldn’t fit.

Overall, it’s still very constructive, thank you very much!

My clothes are few, they’re all just at home; basically I hang them after washing, and take them down directly when I change, so I don’t really need to store them in a wardrobe.
If you have many clothes to hang and they tend to sag, should you consider getting a floor‑space‑taking rack to hang the clothes?

Actually, I also have some clothes on my bed, and because there are many 2D figurines on the bed, they can hold down some of the clothes (x

Makes sense! Thank you very much, I’ll check right away if there’s one suitable for my dorm.

My storage box on the bed is already filled with plenty of bedding, pajamas, etc. :joy:

Also, I’m envious of the 2D figurines on the bed; I’m always afraid I might accidentally kick them off the bed, so I haven’t dared to put them there :sweat_droplets:

The commonly used one can be hung by the bedside, I remember you left a message in my space back then

I’m especially lazy, so all my clothes are hung on the balcony, ready to grab whenever I need.

But I don’t usually have any need for coordinating outfits; I dress very casually ().

Some are, some are

The photos taken a few days ago were taken hanging by the bedside.

SJTU’s balcony is huge… XJTU can’t even fit it :sob:
A dormitory only has two drying rods in total, each used by two people. If it rains and two people wash clothes together, they might not even dry :rat:

Me too

I used to do the same, but Xi’an has been raining continuously for the next week, so I have to bring the clothes inside

Hanging these by the bedside is too scary

Let’s not even talk about two people; even a single piece of clothing is hard to dry

Is it more humid near the Qinling?

Ah… huh? Is that so? I didn’t realize :sweat_droplets:

I’m kidding. I mean, when other students walk in, they feel like they’ve accidentally entered the White Tiger Hall

Indoor humidity 66% RH, temperature 22.9 °C, not really dry, I guess.

I usually stuff it into a black dust cover, no big problem; but now the bedside railing seems to have bent as well, I’m afraid it won’t hold up for long.
