I started my internship today. Although at this point the internship is going terribly, I still want to record what I see and hear along the way.
LZ is a kid from a small county town, never having been to a big city or had a job. Whether this LZ, newly arrived in the big city, can last three months, let’s wait and see!
Failed, exhausted, wanted to run away on the first day of work.
I was half an hour late in the morning because of a typhoon.
Because the desks were tight, I had to sit with the sales department people, and MT couldn’t see me, so I started goofing off directly.
At noon I accidentally entered Tianjia, the old veterans took me to a shady self‑service restaurant, and I casually spent 30 yuan. It hurt a lot; I don’t know who is chasing dreams in this bustling big city.
In the afternoon I started work; the main task is to turn a CUDA‑to‑Molar‑thread tool into a Docker pipeline automation. Pulling the image took the whole afternoon and still wasn’t finished, so I had nothing to do and spent the afternoon on my phone, occasionally looking at NVIDIA’s CUDA documentation.
Overall, commuting to work is tiring and boring, and I don’t want to write CI/CD. The money I earn is only enough for food and shelter; I really have no idea
Anyway, back to the point, I spent another morning pulling the image. The company makes surveying instruments, and today a lady who does civil drafting sat at the desk opposite mine.
Tomorrow we might have to pull a day’s image again, and I’ve been idle these past few days just reading the official CUDA documentation.
If next week is still this free, I’ll consider doing some LeetCode practice; I always feel like I’m letting mt and my colleagues down
In the evening when I go home, the surroundings are all construction sites and heads, and I can’t quite tell whether the suffocation is due to rhinitis or the heart.
B wants to do laundry, but was delayed by the clothes that weren’t hung up in the washing machine. Because it was too late, while washing, C, annoyed by the noise, secretly stopped it.
Maybe these two might argue tomorrow.
But actually the instigator is me, the clothes that weren’t hung up are mine
Co‑living always has some awkward moments; if possible, living alone is better.
Recently I suspect I have a bit of dry eye syndrome, the registration fee at a Guangzhou hospital is 13, the cheapest here is 25…
Tonight I’m going to the ophthalmology department to see how much it will cost.
Plan to return to Guangzhou for the National Day holiday to get a CT scan for the area that often has stomach pain.
