Also, what is a collective household registration, or what is it for, does it have any use?(

Collective household registration is useless

At the time I thought it was useful and there was no loss, so I moved in

Now it seems handling some matters is very troublesome, want to move out

I’m curious what trouble there is
For example, a passport?

Anyway, I’ve never moved my household registration; I’ve been the same since birth.

Yes, and getting medical treatment in one’s hometown is also quite troublesome

At first, everyone was unclear, but because it’s an urban household registration, it seemed that moving out wouldn’t have much impact, so they moved out

Will it still affect getting medical care? :exploding_head: This should be within the scope of health insurance, right?

Anyway, getting medical treatment in a different location seems to be a lot more troublesome
I’m not very clear on the specifics.

Even when receiving medical treatment elsewhere, it’s the medical insurance, not the household registration ( ).

Could it be that because of this transfer, the medical insurance and social security information changed?
But the specific regulations may differ by province, right?

University student medical insurance seems to be separate, not resident medical insurance.

Keeping a Shanghai collective household registration has few benefits, possibly the ability to obtain a Shanghai district license plate; it is said you can buy a car with a Shanghai district plate and then use it as a taxi. After graduation, the household registration will be cleared after two years; I feel its usefulness is limited.

Here’s the thing
But anyway, I probably don’t want to stay in Shanghai, so a license plate and stuff probably won’t be useful to me.

I don’t understand. I moved to XJTU, but so far I haven’t felt any impact (except that getting an ID card is more convenient) x
