Qin, Han, and Tang peoples destroyed the environment, recklessly cutting down trees,
causing severe soil erosion in the middle reaches of the Yellow River,
which in turn led to sediment deposition downstream, raising the riverbed and turning it into a suspended river above ground,
the Yellow River frequently breached its banks and changed course, leaving the laoxiang in misery,
directly or indirectly causing social unrest in the later periods of the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing, and Republican eras.
In short: the suffering of the laoxiang in the Yellow River floodplain is entirely the responsibility of the Qin side
