I’d like to ask, for a graduate student who only needs to graduate, what kind of work schedule should I aim for? I’m currently in my second year, I go to my desk at 10 a.m., return to the dorm at 6 p.m., and in the evenings I usually read English or study work‑related material. However, everyone else in my group arrives very early and stays very late. I’m not sure if I can graduate smoothly with this routine.
A professional master’s degree without a thesis also satisfies the graduation requirements.
It’s fine to proceed normally, right?
Maintain this intensity, five days a week, just graduate whenever you want.
Whether you can graduate smoothly doesn’t depend on your work condition; first it depends on your boss, and then on how much work you have done.
Maybe others leave later because of graduation pressure; if you aren’t worried and the advisor doesn’t blame you, then it’s fine. It depends on your own goals.
