其实感觉这个难度不是严格的，今年有同时录取 umich 和 UW-Madison，但是被 UIUC 拒的案例

2025 update: Although I’m lucky and found a decent job, given the current job market in the US, unless you’re confident in your abilities/luck, I don’t recommend transferring to the US with the goal of finding a job.
But transferring for research purposes is still worthwhile.
