Google 期间产品 Chrome 在 iOS 上的功能比自家的 Android 系统更多，最新功能也是在 iOS 上先推出。

例如一个基本功能，地址栏（导航栏）在顶部还是底部的设置，几年前 Android 的测试版 chrome（canary）是可以调到底部的，然而不知在什么版本的时候这个功能被砍掉了，甚至无法从 chrome://flags 里调整，然而尊贵的 iOS 用户可以调。

另外一个，自动 dark mode，也是 Android 没有，ios 独占。Android 系统的 dark mode 信息是传到 web 应用的，因为 discourse 有自动 dark mode，然而 google search 需要人工设置。

chrome 还搞一些莫名其妙的创新，例如 tab group，人为增加复杂性，非常恶心还关不掉

google 在人机交互设计上一团糟，pixel 上搭载的原生 Android 系统下拉通知栏竟然没亮度调节，需要下拉两次，wlan 和流量的网络开关合在一个按钮，要关得点击两次。还得 72 小时输入一次锁屏密码。

由于 google 这么爱 apple，下一台手机不买 iPhone 是说不过去的

72h 输一次密码无可厚非，确实可以防止忘记密码，但是这个 b 坏就坏在没法记忆输密码次数。md 每天我都会在洗澡以后因为湿手必须用密码，但是计时器居然不重置

For Google Chrome and its 2 billion-plus desktop users, May will go down as a month to forget: four zero-days and emergency update warnings inside 10 days launched a tidal wave of wall-to-wall headlines that were hard to miss.

The U.S. government has warned federal employees to install May’s emergency updates or to cease using Chrome. They issued a June 3 deadline for the first of those updates to be applied and a June 6 update for the second. June 3 has now passed, and so you should have already applied the first update. This is a timely reminder that you must ensure you have applied the second update within the next 72 hours. Clearly, when you update your browser, all fixes to that point will be applied.

谷歌 Chrome for Android 推出底部地址栏

继上个月的公告之后，谷歌 Chrome 浏览器现在正在 Android 系统上广泛推出底部地址栏选项。一旦可用，谷歌 Chrome 浏览器将显示“您可以触摸并长按以将地址栏移动到底部”。这将打开一个新菜单，让您“将地址栏移到底部”，同时现在有一个方便的“复制链接”选项。在 Chrome>设置菜单顶部还有一个新的“地址栏”页面。这会将多功能框移到手势导航栏上方，以改善单手使用体验。三点溢出菜单被稍微下移，但顺序没有变化。确保您使用的是谷歌 Chrome for Android 的 138 版本。如果您还没有看到这项功能，请通过应用信息设置页面强制停止该浏览器。

但是 iOS 上的 Chrome 也是基于 WebKit 内核，一般用户可能还是会用 Safari，Safari 的电池续航确实顶
