This is a very convenient coding‑transition path and also a field where publishing papers is relatively easy, but it’s also hard to compete with computer‑science majors. It seems that switching to coding isn’t that easy either. Of course, the prospects for some groups in the equipment institute are also okay, and this is also a direction without a matching job position. Personally, I feel the mentor’s influence is far greater than the direction itself. If you want to switch to coding, finding a good mentor and interning for three years would be wonderful.
